Chromanik

ChromaNik Technologies Inc. is a Japanese HPLC and UHPLC column manufacturer. ChromaNik has developed “Core Shell Silica Column” a technology that consists of a non-porous core in the center and a porous layer outside the core. The core-shell structure increases the theoretical plate count by 50%.

Since its foundation in 2005 ChromaNik has established itself in the HPLC column market with four innovative product lines: SunArmor, Sunniest, Sunrise and SunShell.

Through its unique bonding and end capping technologies, stable phases with very low silanol activity are obtained. The product range includes fully porous- and core-shell columns that can be used for both HPLC and UHPLC.

The Japanese manufacturer’s portfolio also includes columns with fully porous phases that ensure fast and reliable analytical results due to their unique surface modifications.

1. SunShell : column has not only an inert surface but also high stability due to deactivated silanol groups. SunShell 2.6 μm column can be used on both HPLC and UHPLC because it shows 2 times lower back presure than sub 2 μm column, so that the same separation can be achieved by both columns without changing the separation condition consequently analysis time reduces one third.

2. SunArmor : further evolution of surface modification

Little influence of silanol groups, acidic and basic compounds show a symmetrical peak sharp!

4. Sunrise columns are very unique. Silanol Activity Control (SAC) technology leads not only adding an interaction by silanol groups but also a symmetrical peak forbasic compounds.
